With the weather getting colder across the country, we can all begin to dream of warmer places. And there’s nowhere better to imagine yourself than Ultra Music Festival as it makes its way back to its home at Bayfront Park in Miami from March 26–28, 2027. The gathering’s Phase 1 lineup is absolutely drenched in legendary talent, major names, and some unexpected collaborations that are sure to make waves across the dance music scene.
In its 27th year, the festival continues to put new twists on old tricks, bringing back-to-back debuts from some of the biggest names in dance music to the shores of South Beach this spring. Marshmello teams up with dubstep superstar Subtronics, Alison Wonderland brings her freshly independent artistry to the decks alongside hyperpop up-and-comer Tiffany Day, and Boris Brejcha joins forces with Eric Prydz, performing as Cirez D, for their US debut B2B. These combinations perfectly showcase the genre-defying spirit that has helped make Ultra Music Festival a staple of the global dance music scene.
For the first time in Ultra’s history, Animal Talk by SOFI TUKKER will deliver the festival’s debut Live Stage takeover, also marking the festival debut of the duo’s live show. And they won’t be the only ones bringing something new to the stage. Afrojack will also showcase his recently debuted live show at Ultra. With fresh performances and new stage concepts making their way to Bayfront Park, Ultra continues to find ways to keep its annual gathering feeling anything but routine.
While there may be new sights along the waterfront, some things just can’t change. Headlining sets from Martin Garrix, Armin van Buuren, and Steve Aoki carry on the mainstage energy that festivalgoers dream of. The returns of Garrix and van Buuren also bring along stage takeovers from STMPD RCRDS, celebrating its tenth anniversary, and A State of Trance, marking its 15th takeover at the Magic City’s premier dance music festival. For longtime Ultra attendees, these names are part of what makes the festival feel like a homecoming, bringing familiar sounds back to the stages that helped elevate them.
And what would the Magic City be without a healthy dose of underground grit? Sara Landry is set to bring her new hard techno live show to the festival, joining I HATE MODELS and HOLY PRIEST to deliver some of the hardest-hitting techno rhythms you can find. As Ultra continues to balance its mainstage superstars with the darker, heavier corners of electronic music, the festival’s first phase offers plenty for those looking to trade mainstage melodies for pounding kicks and relentless energy.
Beyond the major collaborations and returning favorites, there’s no shortage of additional talent packed into this first phase. Making major headlines of his own, Calvin Harris recently announced a US tour that includes Ultra Music Festival, marking the Grammy-winning producer’s return to the festival for the first time since 2024. Anderson .Paak will bring his DJ Pee .Wee persona to the party, while house heavyweights BUNT. and Dom Dolla round out a lineup that continues to span the many sounds of modern dance music.
With its first phase already stacked with festival debuts, anniversary celebrations, heavyweight headliners, and unexpected back-to-back sets, Ultra Music Festival is setting the stage for another massive return to Bayfront Park. As winter settles in and the countdown to spring begins, the Magic City is already calling. And if this first wave of artists is any indication, Ultra’s 27th year is shaping up to be another sun-soaked celebration of everything that makes dance music special.
