Deep and progressive house producer Lane 8 (real name Daniel Goldstein) is no stranger to Colorado. Currently based in Denver, he has played numerous shows in the state over the past decade. In 2026, he’s taking things to the next level with a series of events over two weekends in early June. Four iconic venues around and adjacent to the Front Range will host the performances.
For anyone unfamiliar, This Never Happened series is themed around engagement and being present. Focusing on a mindset of “experience the moment, don’t record it,” the events allow no phones or cameras, and the result is truly amazing!
To enable a connected experience, fans are often required to place electronic devices into a secure pouch. Then, afterwards, you regain access when the pouch is unlocked.
Expanding On The Summer Gatherings
The Lane 8 This Never Happened Summer Gatherings have been taking place since 2017. Goldstein will be celebrating both a decade of events and his TNH label this year. A pair of concerts at picturesque Dillon Amphitheater comprised the 2024 Colorado events. There was a single, larger event at Red Rocks in 2025. Prior years’ events were hosted at historic outdoor venues, Civic Center Park and Echo Mountain.
Bigger is better, and in 2026, This Never Happened is bringing four shows to the state. After a mini-festival in London in May, it’s Colorado’s turn to shine. On June 6th and 7th, the mountains will be the backdrop. Night one of the Summer Gathering goes down at Dillon, and night two marks a return to Echo Mountain ski area. Goldstein is working to arrange shuttle transportation to Idaho Springs to make travel and parking easier for fans.
These more traditional Summer Gathering shows will feature artists from the This Never Happened label. Featured artists include Dirty South, Christian Löffler and Kidnap. Each night will close with a headlining set by Lane 8.

But Wait, There’s (A LOT) More
Bringing alternate experiences to the second weekend, two additional venues will host This Never Happened experiences. Tandem B2B performances will be featured on the first night. Goldstein is heralding this blending of styles as “Cross Pollination,” and the show will be held at Denver’s indoor technological gem, The Mission Ballroom. The Lane 8 B2B Sultan & Shepard set promises to be epic!
On the 14th, it’s a four-hour Lane 8 marathon with no openers. The final event of the run will take place at the scenic Mishawaka Amphitheatre. This intimate environment near Bellvue is a fan’s dream, and this marks the first time the artist will perform there. Running directly alongside the venue is the Poudre River. Nestled in its river valley, the natural energy and vibes are hard to match at the Mish. With $1 from each ticket across these events going to environmental and conservation causes, it’s the perfect way to close out the string of shows.
Speaking of tickets, Run, don’t walk to get yours — probably in presale, as these small venues are certain to sell out. Don’t miss your chance to be part of these groundbreaking events!
