It was another hot one on Saturday, August 29th as Tape B and friends took over the stage at Rawhide Event Center in Chandler, Arizona.

Presented by Relentless Beats, the night featured an epic stage setup, talented artists, and non-stop energy. It was the perfect way to close out the summer and kick off the fall festival season.

Pristine Production from Tape B

Tape B’s production featured an impressive mix of lasers, pyrotechnics, and multiple spotlight and lighting rigs. Three massive LED screens surrounded the decks, with one positioned behind the stage and two flanking the sides, adding even more visual impact throughout the night.

Hard-Hitting Lineup

Featured artists including Dr. UshuuWINK, and Beastboi got the night started, each bringing their own take on the bass music spectrum. Their sets had fans moving, and the energy was building. They set the tone for what was shaping up to be an unforgettable night.

G Jones took the stage as direct support for Tape B and absolutely delivered! His set leaned into dark, deep bass, with experimental elements woven throughout. Tracks included “In My Head” with the RL Grime edit, along with “Everything All at Once,” keeping the crowd locked in.

TAPE B Takes Over

As the night continued, everyone was gearing up for the main event: Tape B. The moment he took the stage, both the crowd and production were on fire, literally and figuratively. Pyro flames shot into the air as lasers stretched across the crowd, creating an unforgettable atmosphere.

Tape B’s stage presence was everything and more. He delivered fan favorites such as “Hot One,” “I Won’t Be Ur Drug VIP,” and his remix of “Flip It” by Levity.

During his set, Tape B teased several unreleased tracks, including collaborations with Subtronics and Zeds Dead. He also played an unreleased remix of “With Me” by John Summit. Alongside his originals and collaborations, he brought out some signature flips of popular rap and hip-hop tracks from artists such as Mac Miller, Chief Keef, and Wiz Khalifa.

Tape B has become known for putting his own bass-heavy spin on recognizable rap and hip-hop tracks, and hearing those flips live really showcased what makes his sound so unique.

Beyond the Bass

In addition to the hard-hitting lineup, there were pop-ups for a variety of shopping vendors. Companies on hand included Beyond Earth and Moon LVNDING, both Arizona-based businesses that prioritize community and the local rave scene. Their booths featured handmade goods such as tie-dyed shirts and pinacone pendants, along with festival essentials. Items available including hand fans, hydropacks, and other rave accessories.

Food options featured fast-casual options like Chick-fil-A, Jimmy John’s, and The Habit Burger & Grill. This provided attendees with a convenient variety of quick and easy choices to refuel. Refreshing drink selections included BeatBox Beverages, mixed cocktails, beer, seltzers, and sodas.
