“WE WERE ON A BREAK.” One of sitcom television’s most quoted lines is sometimes exactly what’s needed to push the story forward and open the door to new opportunities. After a year off, Global Dance Festival is back, welcoming everyone with a massive lineup packed with heavy-hitting bass and dance music icons.
Find lineups and set times for all U.S. music festivals over 10,000 people here!
This year also brings a fresh facelift, as the festival moves to the newly constructed LVC Festival Grounds. The updated setup introduces two larger-scale stages housed within a brand-new, bowl-style indoor stadium and convention space, complemented by expansive outdoor areas for vendors and easy movement between stages. While the exact layout is still not fully known, the possibilities that come with a new venue create an exciting canvas for creativity to thrive.
And what would a Global Dance return be without some familiar faces? Regulars like Troyboi, Subtronics, Chris Lake and Tiësto are all set to make their return to Denver’s premier dance music event.
Joining this stacked lineup is Kygo, making his first Global Dance appearance since 2018, when he helped kick things off with a daytime set on the Red Rocks main stage. Now, with a much deeper catalog and years of growth behind him, his return feels perfectly timed to deliver those signature summer vibes on a much bigger scale.
Spanning techno, bass music, and every shade of house in between, this lineup truly offers something for everyone.
Looking back on past Global Dance Festivals, I remember catching early and midday sets from artists like John Summit, Crankdat, Ganja White Night, and Two Friends. Finding these artists through exploration has pretty much become a Global Dance Festival tradition of its own. The gathering delivers today’s headliners and allows you the opportunity to find tomorrow’s biggest stars. With an expansive undercard spanning artists like Hills, Bolo, Zoey808 and Z3lla, I can’t wait to see who we all fall in love with for the first time together this year.
