San Holo 10-Year Anniversary Tour

On Thursday, February 20th, one of Colorado’s snowiest winter nights, San Holo took the Mission Ballroom stage for the final stop of his 10-year anniversary tour. The venue was packed with dedicated fans who braved hours of snowy driving to experience this truly unforgettable night in Denver.

San Holo’s decade-long work aims to create soundscapes that deeply resonate with the human consciousness. And his performance showcased his commitment to pushing sonic boundaries. As he exclaimed, “10 years of music without selling my soul!”

As a unique and proud independent artist, San Holo experiments with blending electronic dance music, guitar, and natural sounds. His musical creations would be impossible to duplicate without his expertise.

Earlier that day, San Holo shared on Instagram, “I can’t believe this is the last 10-year anniversary show. It’s been a crazy ride but I am so grateful we got to do this and I will remember these shows forever ily thank you.” Adding later a post of his set list which included an acoustic set, DJ set, and a live set to end the night.

The night was full of euphoric joy as it began with a very special acoustic set, where he performed a few of his original popular songs with Sofie Winterson and The Nicholas. This was a special performance many of the fans were looking forward to seeing after a treacherous journey through the snow.

San Holo’s special acoustic performance brought many of the audience, including myself, to tears as we could feel the passion and love of music through the songs he chose to share. The crowd bonded through singing lyrics that we’ve all managed to remember even 10 years after the release of the original songs. San Holo has a special hold on a lot of his fans’ hearts as his music finds a way to uniquely blend real instruments into electronic sounds.

The DJ set that followed felt like a celestial journey through time. The visuals counted down the past 10 years of music to the very first San Holo original he’s ever dropped. It was as if we were dancing through time, healing our younger selves as we moved through the music that brought us light on some of our darkest days.

The experience felt like we were swimming through a celestial time capsule of true authentic love. The energy of the crowd was palpable as San Holo played a diverse range of tracks through the venue’s incredible sound system. No one knew exactly which songs to expect throughout the night, which kept the crowd on their toes as he played some wholesome riddim and trap songs, as well as other music that didn’t fit into any specific category.

San Holo remarked, “I never really fit in anywhere until I made my own genre.”

While not strictly EDM, the show attracted many EDM enthusiasts, complete with kandi bracelets and high-energy interactions. San Holo’s enthusiasm was extraordinary as he danced atop the DJ table, even catching an airborne kandi bracelet thrown by a fan. His energy seemed to feed off the Denver audience’s vibrant atmosphere, creating an electric feedback loop of excitement.

The night concluded with a live set, featuring San Holo on guitar and vocals dressed in all white. Despite some technical difficulties in the middle of this set, he mesmerized the crowd with an impromptu guitar solo, showcasing his raw unrehearsed talent to keep us entertained while his team fixed the Ableton glitch. His ethereal appearance radiated his love for his craft as he closed the show with a stunning guitar solo and heartfelt thanks to his crew.

It was incredibly special to experience some of his most popular songs multiple times throughout the night, each version distinct from the last. This creative approach showcased San Holo’s versatility as an artist and gave fans a unique, multi-faceted experience of the songs they love.

This show was a tribute to San Holo’s artistic journey. The experience felt like a visual documentary of his dedicated work over the past decade. This wasn’t just a concert; it was a once-in-a-decade experience that celebrated the evolution of a phenomenal artist and the community he’s built.

As we filed out of Mission Ballroom, still buzzing from the show, there was a collective sense that we had been part of something extraordinary. For those who missed it, San Holo’s Denver finale was more than just a concert; it was a milestone in musical history that those present will cherish forever.
