1) Vive Latino

Founded in 1995, Vive Latino is one of Latin America’s biggest music festivals. Previous versions of Vive Latino have included artists such as Portugal. The Man, Milky Chance, and Jake Bugg. This two-day festival occurs in the springtime in Foro Sol. This is one of the largest, most important music festivals in Mexico. Additionally, it attracts a large crowd because it has music from many different genres.

2) EDC Mexico

Electric Daisy Carnival is a world-renowned music festival put on by Insomniac. EDC Mexico takes place annually in February at Autódromo Hermanos Rodríguez. This EDM festival has several stages with big names like Said The Sky, Vintage Culture, and Big Wild. Attendees can go from stage to stage thanks to their perfect positioning. This year, EDC Mexico will take place from February 25th to February 27th. Attendees can expect to see Claptone, REZZ, and many more.

There are also circus acts, live painters, and fire performers spread throughout if you need a break from dancing your heart out. What really makes EDM festivals so great though are all the people who attend! With costumes ranging from beaded bra tops to butterfly wings, there’s sure to be some fashion that catches your eye.

3) Sundream Tulum

Held just steps from a beautiful beach in Tulum, Sundream Tulum is a brand new two-weekend event created by Rüfüs Du Sol. This festival takes place at Papaya Playa Project. Each weekend, Rüfüs Du Sol will perform two sets, one live set and one DJ set. Other handpicked artists will also be performing at Sundream Tulum including Bob Moses, WhoMadeWho, and Cassian. Music events take place from Thursday to Friday on both weekends. Then, Sundays are dedicated to recovery and wellness.

4) Baja Beach Fest Mexico

This festival is located in Ensenada and is a 4-day musical extravaganza with some of your favorite bands from all over the world. At Baja Beach Fest, you can expect to listen to a variety of musical artists such as Foster The People, Grouplove, Imagine Dragons, Skrillex, Crystal Castles, and Yellow Claw.

5) Day Zero Festival

Day Zero Festival is a must-attend for those who want to experience a music festival in paradise. The beach location is one of San Miguel de Allende’s many draws, which makes Day Zero Festival a unique destination for music fans. Known as Mexico’s Woodstock, Day Zero Festival attracts large crowds with its eclectic lineups. Past performers include Black Coffee, Dixon, and Blond:ish.
