The Chainsmokers have declared the start of “a new thing,” promptly dropping the news of some of their most high-profile 2023 performances.
Dubbing the leg of shows “The Party Never Ends,” the platinum-selling producer duo are gearing up to salvage summer’s last stand by delivering a series of sets at the Los Angeles State Historic Park followed by back-to-back performances at Red Rocks Amphitheatre.
The Chainsmokers (real names Alex Pall and Drew Taggart) are, of course, showing up in good company. The Los Angeles outing will feature direct support from the L.A.-born Two Friends, who recently made a splash at Coachella. The outing will be rounded out with additional sets from ARMNHMR and NOTD, respectively. Meanwhile, their Red Rocks shows will feature sets from “Vibe Like This” producer SG Lewis and NOTD.
The news marks the first time The Chainsmokers have been booked to play Red Rocks in roughly five years. The duo have been touring heavily over the last year in support of their early 2022 album So Far So Good, which yielded radio-ready singles, “High,” “iPad,” and more.
The timing of their latest show announcements is particularly notable. While there’s been no formal announcement of a release date at the time of writing, the duo have teased on multiple occasions that fans can expect their fifth LP to be released at some point in 2023.
Tickets to The Chainsmokers’ August 19th outing at Los Angeles State Historic Park as well as their September 2nd and 3rd back-to-back sets at Red Rocks are on sale now via Seated.
