Last month, Tape B (real name Kemal Berk Alkana) announced his first headlining tour. Originally, OLD SCHOOL X NEW SCHOOL was set to conclude in Denver. The bass music producer has added additional dates, however, including a second show at The Ogden Theatre. The two-night experience will take place on December 22nd and 23rd.
Two Nights of Tape B
As if one show wasn’t exciting enough, we now get a double dose of music from the producer! This momentous event will not only consist of the biggest headline shows of Tape B’s career so far, but it also marks the producer’s first-ever two-night curated event.
With the addition of the second show, Tape B has clarified that each date will be thematically different. Night one will feature a “Dose of Nostalgia” dubstep set. The second night will be dedicated to the producer’s “Driptapes” mixtape series.
What Can We Expect From Each Show?
Named after the producer’s Dose of Nostalgia EP, the first night will presumably focus on the artist’s original productions, as well as the blending of old and new styles of dubstep.
For the “Driptapes” set, the producer will take a different approach. On the eponymous mixtape series, Tape B has remixed classic songs with his own innovative production and bass-heavy beats. His Instagram post announcing this set included snippets of what might be expected at the show. This will be the first official “Driptapes” set and we’re sure it will not disappoint!

Whether you’re a fan of nostalgic takes on dubstep or fresh, new spins on old classics, these shows will tap into both spectrums of Tape B’s production. The support lineup is yet to be announced, but we know the producer will be in good company. Get your tickets now! Night one is available here and night two is available here.
