Tyler, the Creator is heading out on a highly anticipated tour in 2025. Chromakopia the World tour spans North America, Europe, Australia, and New Zealand — and Denver is the second stop. Coming through to Ball Area on February 11th, Tyler, the Creator is celebrating his eighth studio album of the same name. As such, you should get ready for some fun.
Tyler Gregory Okonma aka Tyler, the Creator is a rapper, singer, producer, designer and festival organizer. His raspy voice and lyrical prowess have defined his career. In the 2010s, Okonma emerged as the leader and co-founder of the Odd Future collective. His ingenuity led to him having a hand in many of the alternative rap crew’s releases. He also worked tirelessly on his solo creations.

Okonma created his first album, Bastard, while still collaborating with Odd Future. It introduced him to the world as an indie musician. His next two albums juxtaposed violence and crudeness with lovable charm. While they were well received on the Billboard charts, media scrutiny might made you suspect otherwise.
From there, Okonma shifted his sound to include jazz, R&B and soul. Subsequent albums Cherry Bomb, Flower Boy, Igor, and Call Me if You Get Lost featured this new sound, with the last two albums each earning him a Grammy.
His newest release, Chromakopia, deviated from Okonma’s norm of putting two years between each album as it took three. His eighth studio release, this album features dialogue from his mother interspersed between the songs. Exploring the idea of an alter ego called St. Chroma, Chromakopia is a storytelling wonder, full of creative lyricism and self-reflection. It’s peak Tyler, the Creator as it details where he’s been, where he hopes to go, and all the bumps along the way. Okonma took his time with this one, and it was definitely worth the wait.
The venue formerly known as Pepsi Center, Ball Arena is an indoor, state-of-the-art venue in Denver. It’s host to many events like concerts, sports games, and special events and it’s home to sports teams Denver Nuggets, Colorado Avalanche, and Colorado Mammoth. It’s clean and easy to get around with plenty of space. Try to be close to the soundboard for the ultimate listening experience.
