A Look Back at Breakaway Arizona 2026

Breakaway Arizona lit up the weekend of April 24th-25th with an unforgettable two-day experience. Hosted by Breakaway Music Festival in partnership with Relentless Beats, it delivered nonstop music, vibrant energy, and an atmosphere full of excitement.

Taking place at Sloan Park Festival Grounds, the event featured multiple stages, over 80 DJs, a variety of vendors, and more. Breakaway Arizona solidified itself as a standout festival in its second year in the Valley.

What sets Breakaway apart is its unique, multi-city tour format. Each gathering builds anticipation as it brings its signature experience to cities across the country.

Production and Layout

Breakaway Arizona featured three stages: the Main Stage, Leave It All Behind (the L.A.B), and a silent disco hosted by Jimmy John’s called Club Sandwich, which offered three DJ decks running at once. Music kicked off promptly at 3pm and kept the energy going until 10pm.

The Main Stage featured an elevated setup surrounded by massive LED screens enhanced by lasers, pyrotechnics, fireworks, and CO2 cannons that brought the production to life.

The L.A.B and Club Sandwich featured similar production elements on a smaller scale, including multiple lighting rigs, a disco ball, and dynamic spotlights that enhanced the immersive atmosphere.

Breakaway’s layout felt cohesive and well organized, with plenty of space between stages, minimal high-traffic congestion, and ample room for attendees to sit and relax at picnic tables or on grassy areas.

Lineup

Taking over the stages this weekend were a mix of heavy hitters, popular names, rising stars, and local DJs representing Arizona.

Attendees had the chance to experience sets from artists such as Marshmello, Loud Luxury, and Kygo. ISOxo also delivered a standout performance alongside acts like Disco Dom, Habstrakt, and James Hype.

With a packed roster across the weekend, genres across the EDM spectrum were well represented. Whether catching a favorite artist or discovering a new sound to add to their playlist, the weekend offered something for everyone.

The full lineup can be seen here

Vendors

A variety of food and drink vendors were available throughout the weekend, offering attendees plenty of options to choose from. Food selections included tacos, burgers, fries, and sweet treats, while drink options ranged from seltzers and BeatBox Beverages to energy drinks like Celsius, along with mixed cocktails, mocktails, sodas, and sports drinks.

When it came to festival attire, Loose Lucys served as a one stop shop for everyone’s needs. Living by their motto, “cool clothes, kind prices,” they offered everything from pashminas and hand fans to full festival outfits, perfect for adding to or completing any look for the season.

Final Details

VIP offered private bars, dedicated food options, shaded seating areas, and air-conditioned restrooms. The Space Deck stood out as a unique feature, providing an elevated view of the stage along with table service and drinks.

Accessibility was also a priority, with various ADA seating options available at each stage to ensure a more inclusive environment. Both general and VIP parking were available, and entry into the festival was quick and efficient, from ticket scanning and ID checks to getting inside.

Breakaway also featured multiple art installations throughout the grounds, creating perfect photo opportunities for attendees. There were also plenty of general admission restrooms and water stations available throughout the venue to support the crowd.

Breakaway also offered a variety of extras, including a run club hosted by Celsius on Saturday, April 25th. The three-mile loop welcomed all paces, and participants had the chance to win merch and various Breakaway ticket upgrades after the run. The weekend also featured multiple after parties headlined by artists such as MPH, Disco Dom, and Dr. Fresch.

I would definitely recommend attending a Breakaway festival. It was an incredible experience, and I’m already looking forward to the next Arizona edition.

Decadence AZ 2024 was a New Year’s Celebration Like No Other!

As the clock struck midnight, Decadence Arizona: Age of Indulgence attendees found themselves suspended in a euphoric moment, celebrating both the arrival of 2025 and the festival’s 10th anniversary.

Relentless Beats pulled out all the stops, transforming the Phoenix Raceway into an immersive wonderland on December 30th and 31st. From stellar production to a stacked lineup, every detail was designed to take fans on a journey!

Production and Design

Decadence AZ brought over 90 artists across two days who played amongst five stages. Showcasing a wide range of genres — from dubstep and house to bass house, trance, riddim, and beyond — the festival offered something for everyone. Fans not only enjoyed their favorite sounds but also had the chance to discover new artists and explore genres.

The two main stages, Grand Palace and Royal Ballroom, stood beneath massive, towering tents, creating a warehouse-style vibe that added to the festival’s energy. Complementing these were three smaller stages: The Playhouse, hosted by Beatbox Beverages; Quiet Quarters, a silent disco curated by Trulieve; and The Bazaar, brought to life by Baked Bros.

The production at Decadence AZ this year was next level! All stages featured LED screens as well as lighting rigs with spotlights, projections, and fog machines. The two main stages took things even further, utilizing CO2 cannons, confetti blasts, and lasers. Suspended mini LED screens also added to the experience, creating an immersive atmosphere.

Exciting Lineup

Relentless Beats did not hold back when it came to this year’s lineup!

At the beginning of each night, attendees were treated to sets from fresh talent like Justin Irby, Raven & Ali, Lujan, 2SOON, Slippe and Ward Andrews. Their mission was clear: set the tone for the night ahead. And they delivered, getting the crowd hyped and moving on the dance floor.

Fans’ excitement reached its peak as the night progressed, with massive performances from Wooli, Dom Dolla, Excision, SVDDEN DEATH, Zeds Dead, HOL!, Mau P, ISOxo and more. Each act delivered jaw-dropping sets that ignited the crowd. The energy continued to build until its final moments, leaving attendees buzzing long after the last set ended.

There were also exclusive opportunities for fans to win meet-and-greets with artists like ARMNHMR, Le Youth, Valentino Khan and TroyBoi

Time stood still as the clock struck midnight. John Summit commanded the Grand Palace while Dog Eat Dog, the electric duo of CRANKDAT and Riot Ten, took over the Royal Ballroom. For a moment, everything seemed to slow down as the crowd welcomed 2025, surrounded by best friends, loved ones, and a sense of euphoria.

The atmosphere was a perfect balance of fast and slow. It’s moments like these that festival-goers chase: escapism wrapped in magic. It was like in those few seconds, the world outside faded away. Everyone could feel it.

Experiences

For those needing a break from the crowd, Decadence AZ offered plenty of spots to unwind, shop and refuel. The Bazaar provided space to relax, snap photos at various art installations, and explore brand activations.

The Highland, a 21+ area, returned with cannabis brands like Baked Bros, Super Fog, Aeriz and Trulieve, promoting safe cannabis use! They also gave out complimentary coupons, stickers and more. Meanwhile, Voodoo Ranger’s fan-favorite 1UP Arcade made a comeback, featuring classic games like Pac-Man and Smash Bros, adding a nostalgic, playful vibe to the festival experience.

Vendors

If fans needed some rave accessories and new attire, there were local businesses such as Gypsy Elysian, Kandies World, Kritter Klips, Moon Lvnding and more! They had everything from custom made shirts, to hoodies, hand fans, hydration packs, bucket hats, and handmade pinecones.

Food options had fan favorites like nachos, pizza, chicken tenders, fries, tacos, pretzels, and more to satisfy cravings. For drinks, attendees could enjoy mixed drinks, Red Bulls, a variety of beers and seltzers, and BeatBox beverages!

Final Details
