We are excited by the return of Sonic Bloom for 2023! It’s one of Colorado’s most iconic and long-running festivals, and you can’t go wrong at Hummingbird Ranch, the traditional location for the show.
Lineup Info
The lineup features iconic artists from every conceivable modern genre of music as would be expected from a festival of this caliber. Best known for showcasing experimental bass music, the lineup includes heavyweights such as Ott., DRRTYWULVZ, and VibeSquaD. Shout out rude gyal Anna Morgan on the DnB tip and bad lady Sicaria representing the U.K. dubstep sound. For those looking for a more melodic music experience, Lotus and CloZee are sure to provide.
Honestly, the talent for this is so stacked that there’s too many names to mention. That doesn’t mean anyone should miss Zilla’s set, though. The original Sonic Bloom 2006 night two headliner, this band comes highly recommended.
The Experience
Festival goers will enjoy a mellow and soothing experience at the Hummingbird Ranch, located in scenic Rye, Colorado. Divided by a creek, the grounds include a grove of trees to frolic in between sets. The Unified Field provides tons of space. All the usual amenities such as vending, bar service, and food are available. The festival includes four stages of music. Past years have had silent discos and unannounced takeovers, so be sure to explore!
Upgrades
This year the showrunners have promised increased infrastructure including multiple sanitation vendors to improve the availability of hygiene facilities, personal hosts for every camp, hot showers, increased water filling stations, and much more. Tickets are no longer NFTs. Cash and cards are accepted throughout the entire venue.
For those still in need of a ticket, don’t fret. The festival has arranged pre-parties throughout the city that will function as ticket giveaways such as this upcoming Unified Field Pre-party at The Black Box (be on the lookout for future announcement’s for this contest). Festival season is upon us and Sonic Bloom is always a must-see event on the circuit for the summer.
