Shaquille O'Neal DJ Diesel

Over Halloween weekend, Colorado will be a-shaking. But it ain’t gonna be no earthquake, it’s just Shaquille O’Neal aka DJ DIESEL making his debut at Red Rocks. Sunday, October 27th will go down in history. Shaq’s traveling show Bass All-Stars brings a Halloween edition to the mighty amphitheater.

After mastering the basketball court, Shaq ventured into electronic music to dominate stages around the world. And he’s swiftly asserting his control musically through his headbanging headline sets. Not only that, but he released his debut album Gorilla Warfare in 2023. This let the world know that DJ DIESEL is here to stay. Shaq is no stranger to music, though, as he’s been in the game for 30 years, releasing his debut album under his rap moniker Shaq Diesel in the ’90s.

Like all other Bass All-Stars events, this one features a bevy of heavy hitters. Each will melt your face with their bass-thumping music. Habstrakt and Riot Ten throw down earth-shattering bass, while Benda and Celo each go B2B with Stoned Level and Kozmo, respectively.

The open-air amphitheater is the spot for DJ Diesel and his Bass All-Stars beand. He curated the lineup and custom built a stage that will compliment the natural beauty and acoustics of Red Rocks.

Red Rocks has hosted some of the most iconic artists, and this show will be no different. The venue features gorgeous views and acres upon acres of hiking trails. It’s touted as a natural phenomenon and is one of the world’s only naturally occurring acoustical venues. The rocks add the perfect insulation to sound, and at 6,500 feet above sea level, Red Rocks is the highest-altitude concert locale. There’s so much that Red Rocks offers, and Shaq will surely take advantage of it.

I know this isn’t a basketball game, but I guarantee DJ Diesel will still impress. “The World’s Biggest DJ” will take over one of the world’s most famous venues. It’s a match made in music heaven.

DJ Diesel is in his prime and tickets will surely sell out. Don’t sleep on getting your tickets to Shaq’s Bass All-Stars Red Rocks Halloween Edition, set for Sunday, October 27th.
