2019 marked the second round of Fat Mike’s Punk in Drublic tour, and their stop in Denver, Colorado. The concert tour brought together some of the most iconic punk bands of the last 20 years. With an abundance of craft beers at one of the most majestic venues in the world, Red Rocks Amphitheatre. The concert featured acts such as Bad Cop Bad Cop, Teenage BottleRocket, The Lawrence Arms, The Bouncing Souls, Me First and the Gimme Gimmes, and NOFX. NOFX were joined by a symphony for an epic rendition of their song 18 minute punk masterpiece, “The Decline”.

Punk Music and Beer Make a Good Sunday

Taking the fans through some of their favorites , The Bouncing Souls had the crowd in the palm of their hand. As a matter of fact, the lead singer even took breaks to snap selfies and genuinely connect with fans. In ultimate high energy sing-a-long fashion, Me First and the Gimme Gimmes brought all in attendance through the entire spectrum of emotions. They included covers of everyone, from John Denver and Billy Joel, to Johnny Cash and Gloria Gaynor.

Ever the fan of controversy, Fat Mike of NOFX had the crowd riled up before they even started to play. To put it another way, just as bottles started to hit the ground or the stage as it were, the guitar work of Eric Melvin and Jefe quickly brought that frenzy to a focus. They cycled through over thirty years of material before building to their magnum opus, “The Decline”.
