Over the years, Opulent Temple has become virtually synonymous with Burning Man. Their camp is legendary, and it’s known for bringing out quality talent and epic installations. They’re teaming up with Bad Asstronauts to host their trademark fundraising event, Sacred Dance: The White Party, in Denver. Join the crews for a night of music, art, and dance on March 30th at Tracks, all while donning your finest white attire.

Benefiting both camps, this is the fundraiser — the most fun for them to create and the most fun for partygoers to attend. A microcosm of the epic gathering that is the White Party at Burning Man, Sacred Dance gives those who’ve never attended, or who can’t attend, a taste of the Burn.

Opulent Temple is a San Francisco-based sound camp. Bad Asstronauts has members from both San Francisco and Denver. So of course it makes sense for these two groups to join forces. Both crews strive to make the world a better place through music, and that’s just what the dance scene needs.

Your selectas for the evening include trance magic creators-turned techno behemoths Gabriel & Dresden. The duo are longtime Opulent Temple supporters and keep the dance floor jumping. Opulent Temple’s Billy Seal as well as Bad Asstronauts’ Josh Forster, Rob Harrington, Low Frequency Output, and Jay Wood are also DJing. Chris Irvin is on loan from Dusty Rhino, and the Darshan Dance Company performs a dance and ritual in the two rooms. It’s the perfect soundtrack for a magical evening.

Both Opulent Temple and Bad Asstronauts have queer members and allies. They’re a diverse and supportive community.

It also makes sense that Tracks is the venue for the night. It’s a queer-friendly LGBTQ safe space and has been for four decades. Deeply rooted in the Denver nightlife, Tracks has the latest state-of-the-art lighting, sound, and video technology. Located in the Five Points district, it features multiple dance floors and bars for your dancing and drinking pleasure.

Sacred Dance is a must-attend event. Help the two camps raise funds to return home to Black Rock City while dancing your ass off. And do it all while wearing your finest white costume or sexiest outfit. The sooner you purchase your ticket to Sacred Dance: The White Party on March 30th at Tracks, the better.
