Mau P Mission Ballroom 11/08/2024

This fall, the temperatures are going to drop in Colorado. As the snow begins to fall, however, the Denver music scene doesn’t go into hibernation. The dance floors are scheduled to heat up with the legendary Mau P (real name Maurits Westveen) making an appearance at the Mission Ballroom!

On November 8th, Westveen is bringing his Baddest Behaviour event to the mile-high city. This will be an open-to-close set, meaning that he will remain behind the decks for the entire night. The last time that Westveen was in Colorado was in February of this year when he headlined the The Ogden Theatre.

A Tech House Force

Westveen originates from the Netherlands and has been an absolute force within the electronic music industry since his debut single released in 2022. “Drugs From Amsterdam” absolutely captivated the tech house scene and quickly racked up hundreds of millions of streams. This catchy, high-energy track could be heard across the globe, as tons of DJs added it to their set lists. His most recent release “On Again” is light and bouncy with slightly grungy elements, showcasing his eclectic music style.

The Mission Ballroom

The Mission Ballroom is located in RiNo (River North Arts District), just north of downtown Denver. This revolutionary venue has a stage that can move, allowing for a flexible capacity of anywhere between 2,200 and 3,950 people.

The large stage provides the opportunity for massive production, including giant LED screens, pyrotechnics, and more. Locals have called this venue the “indoor Red Rocks Amphitheatre” due to the layout of the venue. Behind the main floor are amphitheater-like rows for sitting or standing. There are also VIP balconies on both sides of the venue. So, no matter where in the venue you post up to watch the show, you’ll have a great view!
