Colorado is no stranger to having legendary musical acts and artists perform throughout the state year round. On Thursday, March 13th, Mary Droppinz (real name Alyssa Johnson) kicks off the Colorado run of her current tour in the city of Fort Collins! Her show will be taking place at the Aggie Theatre in iconic Old Town.

Over the last few years, Johnson has continued to master her unique sound: a delectable assortment of housey breakbeats, jungle, bass-filled wubs, and even drum and bass. Born in Omaha, Nebraska, this innovative producer and DJ has played festivals like Coachella, Lightning in a Bottle, and Bass Canyon.
Johnson has also graced the Red Rocks Amphitheatre stage last summer with Zeds Dead and is set to return this summer with Ganja White Night. She also teaches workshops via LP Giobbi’s brand, Femme House.
A few of Johnson’s most notable tracks include “Everything Is Energy“, “Bass B$tch“, and “La Discoteca” with BIIANCO featuring My Name Is Alex.
The Aggie Theatre
The Aggie Theatre is located on College Avenue in Old Town Fort Collins. This venue has a capacity of 650, which is super intimate! Anyone attending is so lucky to be able to witness the power behind one of Johnson’s sets in such an up-close-and-personal setting. The lobby includes room for merchandise as well as restrooms and a full bar. The main room of the venue has a slightly tiered floor, which means there will be a sweet view of the stage from almost anywhere.
There are a few ways to get to the venue, including ride share. For those driving, Fort Collins has ample free and paid parking close to the venue.
