It felt nothing like a Sunday at Temple Denver. If you’re looking for deep house and techno, then Lilly Palmer is a DJ you have to check out.
Palmer is from Zürich, Switzerland, bringing with her a taste of the European underground scene. The up-and-coming artist regularly tours around Europe displaying her passion for music and connectivity with each set. She’s remained dedicated to honing her craft and playing steadily for crowds since 2015.
Lilly Palmer Takes Command
On Sunday, February 12th, Lilly and some friends put on a spectacle of a show. A special highlight was the dedication of one fan in particular, who spent the whole night lifting a crutch in the air. The music kept a steady pace, with minor breaks between drops for the crowd to catch their breath.
The night started out with heavy kick drums, jumping straight into some deep techno. All in all, it was the perfect wind up to Palmer’s set. She kept the fast-paced beats from earlier commanding the highs and the lows like waves in the ocean. Her unique blend of house and techno kept our feet moving without a moment to rest.
Lilly views music as freedom, and her stylish flair showed just how free the music can be. Her ability to read the mood and expand upon it paved the way for a banger of a set. In addition to the strobing lights, the immersive visuals along Temple’s walls and ceiling added to the performance.
While it was a Sunday, Lilly Palmer brought a performance to Temple Denver that had everyone questioning if it was actually a Sunday. The deep house and techno she delivered was the perfect way to start the week off. Temple is showing no signs of slowing down with the acts they have coming up.
