Denver is home to the daringly dynamic house music producer and DJ James Grebb. Over the years, he has dedicated his time to perfecting his unique sound while creating exhilarating live show experiences. Some of his tracks have been featured on SiriusXM and also hit the Beatport Top 100!
Those lucky enough to live in or visit the Mile High City may have seen Grebb crushing the stages at Global Dance Festival, Decadence, and Supernatural. He’s also played more intimate shows at venues including Temple Denver, The Church, and Larimer Lounge. Previous shows outside of Colorado include Catch One in Los Angeles and Passport in Chicago.
A few years ago, Grebb launched his signature genre and show series titled “Abstract House.” The genre is an immaculate blend of electro house and bass house. When combined with a festival-like concert experience, it leaves listeners and attendees begging for more.
“Remedy” is finally here!
On Friday, April 11th, Grebb released a brand new heater of a track called “Remedy.” After pausing new music last year to fine-tune his sound and vision, this new single was highly anticipated by many.
“Remedy” starts with hi-hats that almost immediately fade into beautiful, light vocals. These elements are isolated until percussion and dark synths are gradually introduced. Vocal chops, percussion, and a powerful bass line are combined with some wubs during the first drop.
As the energy of the track dips slightly, listeners are once again drawn to the entrancing vocals. Then, individual elements are systematically added back into the track to increase the suspense for the second drop. And wow is it good! So good, you’ll be restarting the track the second it finishes. A high-energy bass line and intricate percussion fuse together before the vocals come in one last time and the track fades out.
This masterpiece does an absolutely incredible job of showcasing Grebb’s distinctive sound, and we cannot wait to hear what comes out of the studio next!
