Everybody likes a good three-peat. This trilogy will likely see Illenium sell out his third Ember Shores Festival at Paradisus Cancun this December.
Arguably a household name in 2023, the world-renowned DJ has concluded the past two years with an epic, curated festival at the beautiful Paradisus Resort in Cancun. Amenities include generous room and ticket packages, a main stage on a coastal beach, and legendary dubstep pool parties. Both previous years sold out of rooms at least a month before the event, and 2023 doesn’t look like it will break the streak.
Illenium (real name Nicholas Miller) has some landmarks to pass on the way as well. Coming off his fifth self-titled album featuring Avril Lavigne and JVKE, Miller promises to take his music to levels no DJ has dared to venture in 2023. One stop in his massive world arena tour is the highest-capacity venue his home in Denver can offer: Trilogy at Empower Field. It promises the same level of immersive, full-field production as the first Trilogy event at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas. It happens June 16th and is expected to be the largest electronic music event headlined by a single DJ.
His tour’s final stop in Australia on December 2nd will have him returning to Cancun less than a week after. That’s likely when the fun for him starts, though. The 2023 edition is tracking to sell out faster than previous years despite not having announced a lineup, a feat that should cement him as one EDM’s most prolific acts. Expect a deep and heavy-hitting cast of support with some surprise appearances sure to leave all who attend in awe.
The festival begins December 8th through the 10th. Tickets are on sale now, but as with most sales coming from Illenium, they won’t last long.
