The last day of June, as well as, the last night of the Hieroglyphics Third Eye Vision Anniversary Tour, Party Guru headed to Cervantes’ Masterpiece Ballroom to watch this fantastic performance. Hieroglyphics Crew is an American underground hip hop group based out of Oakland, California. The group was discovered in the early-1990s by the rapper Del the Funky Homosapien.

Before Hieroglyphics graced the stage, the opening acts were Rap Noir, Stoney Hawk, S.A.V.E.1, Mike Wird, L0S, and Stonewall BLVD.

The Hieroglyphics Crew has been around for over 20 years! Fans went wild as they walked on to the stage, and the ballroom was packed with excitement. This writer would describe the type of hip-hop this group puts on as philosophical poetry. The artists in Hieroglyphics seem to have such a bond. You can tell from how well they vibe together on and off the stage. The energy in the venue was unreal. With over 20 years of music, this show was just as good as their earlier ones. They may be older now, but their spirits are still mighty with hip hop culture poetry.
