With over 20 U.S. stops, Flume finally made his way into the hearts of fans at the Phoenix Raceway this past weekend on September 3rd in Phoenix, AZ. He was able to perform on the always entertaining megastructure brought to us by Relentless Beats. Though the show may have gone through a rough patch with some initial technical difficulties, Flume brought the crowd back to life with his unique sound and stage presence.
Who Is Flume?
Harley Streten, also known as Flume, is a DJ and record producer from Australia. His self-titled debut album was released on November 9th, 2012. Many see Flume as a pioneer of the subgenre, future bass, and has helped poparize the genre over the years.
He has also won many awards, from the Australian Independent Record Awards, the APRA Music Awards, the ARIA Music Awards, the Grammy Awards, and the National Live Music Awards.
Flume has collabed with many artists over the years, including Kai, MAY-A, Vic Mensa, Vince Staples, Tove Lo, Pusha T, Toro Y Moi, and Jezzabell Doran.

Performance
Flume was able to bring Sega Bodega and TSHA as supporting acts along with Kučka.
As a result of technical difficulties and time limits, Sega Bodega was sadly unable to perform. Sega Bodega is an Irish-Scottish music producer who is also a singer and a DJ. Hopefully, he can make his return to Arizona to showcase his talent! You can learn more about Sega Bodega here.
TSHA is a rapidly emerging electronic artist coming out from the UK. She has been seen as a confident creative who is constantly developing and refining her own distinct feel and sound. Her set featured fun colors and good vibes. She did a great job at warming up the crowd and getting the night going. To learn more and see upcoming tour dates, you can click here!
Flume’s set was absolutely incredible. As soon as he took the stage, everyone was drawn in. He started his set off strong with his remix of disclosure’s “You & Me”. It felt as if all the stress and worries at the raceway peacefully melted way. Fans were screaming and dancing in excitement throughout his whole set. Flume played “Smoke & Retribution” (ft. Vince Staples), where Kučka was able to sing and perform with him along with “ESCAPE”. We also had the pleasure of hearing songs off his most recent album, Palaces, like “I Can’t Tell” ft. LAUREL. As the night continued on, we heard classics like “Drop The Game” ft. Chet Faker, “Say It” ft. Tove Lo, “Sleepless” ft. Jezzabell Doran and “Never Be Like You” ft. Kai.
Vendors
The Phoenix Raceway also hosted a number of various vendors for food, drink, and shopping!
Attendees were able to choose from many options such as tacos, quesadillas, burgers, chicken tenders, and more. They also offered vegan pizza and wraps. For drinks, there were plenty of options that included beers, selzters, and cocktails. I am going to give an honorable mention to Maui Wowi Hawaiian that featured a variety of frozen cocktails, lemonades, and smoothies.
Apparel vendors included Kandies World, Fascinations, Waz Shop, Elite Wear, Moon Lvnding, and more!

Conclusion
Overall, I had a great time and would highly recommend his tour to all my fellow music lovers. For more information on Flume, you can check out his website here to see all his upcoming tour dates, shop for merch, and see his latest song releases!
