This Friday, March 14th, Eric Prydz will touch down at the Mission Ballroom in Denver, Colorado. Born in Sweden, this legendary producer and DJ “Presents 20 Years of Pryda,” one of his musical aliases. According to Prydz, this tour and show will be a full retrospective look at his catalog over the last 20 years.
Progressive House King
Prydz is one of the most well-known names in the progressive house and tech house realms of the electronic music industry. His music is iconic to no end, and he also puts on absolutely massive, mesmerizing live shows, such as HOLO. Throughout the years, Prydz has brought his various shows to colossal festivals across the world including Tomorrowland, Creamfields, Coachella, and EDC Las Vegas.
Pryda is an alias as well as a record label. Pryda’s sound is slightly different, as the tracks released under this alias are more club oriented. Think of being able to dance late into the night surrounded by lights and lasers. Some renowned tracks of his include “Allein,” “Armed” and “Elements.”
When the 20 Years of Pryda tour was announced at the end of last year, his fans couldn’t contain their excitement. This tour only covers North America, so best believe we are lucky that he’s gracing the Mission Ballroom stage with a mind-bending set!
The Mission Ballroom
The Mission Ballroom is a stellar indoor venue in the Mile High City. Locals even call it “the indoor Red Rocks Amphitheatre.” The venue can shift the position of the stage to allow for a capacity between 2,200 and 3,950.
This venue is a large room with plenty of room for production and dancing alike. There is also tiered seating and standing room at the back of the venue, and VIP balconies on both sides of the venue. Depending on how you are arriving to the venue, there is paid parking on-site as well as a rideshare dropoff!
