Boris Brejcha Red Rocks Amphitheatre

German techno icon Boris Brejcha is a veteran when it comes to producing and performing. He started making music when he was only twelve years old and played his first live performance in 2006. Since then, he’s traveled the world playing his music at huge festivals such as Tomorrowland, Coachella and lots more. This past Tuesday, he accomplished yet another huge feat in any producer’s career: headlining a show at the acclaimed Red Rocks Amphitheatre.

Brejcha was joined by Deniz Bul, Moritz Hofbauer, and Ann Clue on this beautiful Tuesday evening. Deniz Bul and Moritz Hofbauer are two other talented German techno producers who made perfect opening acts. Ann Clue served as the ideal direct support, as she is well-known in the techno community and is also Brejcha’s best friend. Fans poured into the venue, and once it was time for Brejcha to take the stage, Red Rocks was full of tech and house-heads ready to dance the night away.

And dance they did! After the openers treated the crowd to a few hours of groovy tunes, Brejcha gave the crowd two solid hours of his ethereal magic. He seemed to hypnotize the audience with his seamless blend of techno and progressive house music. He played a little something for everyone, from old favorites like “Purple Noise” to hits from his more recent album “Space Diver” such as “Gravity” and “Take It Smart.” The weather was perfect, and Brejcha kept everyone grooving all the way until venue curfew.

If you didn’t get a chance to see Boris Brejcha this time around, don’t worry! His exceptional talent, passion, and following are all very apparent, and it’s safe to say there will be more opportunities to catch this one-of-a-kind techno genius. We can all hope he will come back to Red Rocks, but in the meantime, keep your eyes peeled! His name might just appear on a festival lineup near you.
