Let’s get Rowdy!
Big Gigantic returns to Red Rocks for their annual Rowdytown gathering on September 29th and 30th. This year marks Rowdytown’s 11th anniversary and once again, Big G will mesmerize the crowd with their hypnotic style.
Masters of blending electronic music with live instruments, Big Gigantic creates a sound truly their own. Known for not sticking to one genre, the duo take you on a musical journey. They will seamlessly weave through funk, jazz, hip-hop, bass music and everything in between during the two-day event.
Returning to the historic Red Rocks Amphitheatre, the beloved pair started the Rowdytown event brand in 2012. This show marked their first headlining event to sell out. 2012 was a helluva year for music, and while times have changed, Big G has always remained the same. Their dedication to music is unmatched and shines through each performance.
This year, the duo are bringing out some quality talent to join them onstage. Wreckno, Bijou and Jason Leech hold things down on Friday night, while Memba, Wavedash and Align are slated for Saturday. And of course, Big Gigantic headline both nights.
Red Rocks Amphitheatre, located in Morrison, Colorado, is the best place for a Colorado staple such as Big G to play. This world-renowned venue seats almost 9,000 and features spectacular views of its namesake red rocks. Did I mention how amazing the acoustics are? The giant cliff faces, affectionately called the Ship Rock and the Creation Rock, help provide next-level sound. Combined with the breathtaking setting for musical performances, it’s pretty obvious why Red Rocks is so popular and iconic.
Tickets for Rowdytown tend to sell out quickly, so if you plan on attending, now’s the time to buy yours. The only question remains: are you buying a single-day pass or a weekend one? Either way, don’t miss Rowdytown and Big Gigantic at Red Rocks in September 29th and 30th.
