Celebrating its fifth year of introducing carefully curated bass-filled lineups to Texas, Beyond Existence (BE) returns to the state this November. It will be back at Carson Creek Ranch in Austin for the second year, this time hosting three days of music, art, and camping from November 3rd to the 5th.

For the uninitiated, Beyond Existence is a community-minded event that brings under-appreciated genres to the Lone Star State. And 2023 looks to be no different.

From its humble beginnings in 2018, BE has evolved from a single-day event to a three-day festival. Each lineup has obviously always been full of filthy bass, hip-hop, experimental, and everything in between. The amount of talent, musical and otherwise, that you’ll encounter at this festival is unreal.

Speaking of talent, let’s talk about this heavy hitting lineup. Released in phases, the BE roster is stacked and offers something for everyone.

The organizers of Beyond Existence pride themselves on supporting a wide array of artists from all walks of life and 2023 is a perfect example of that. Performing acts include Manic Focus, Minnesota, Shlump, and Tsuruda. There’ll be three different takeovers, with Subciety, Mystic Grizzly, and Silent Motion Records each hosting one. In addition to all that talent, catch the Beyond OGs, artists who’ve been with BE since the jump, including Funkbox, Comisar and Lowcation, the latter two of whom will play back to back.

Carson Creek Ranch is the perfect spot to host such a passionate, community-driven festival. Located near downtown and the international airport, the 60-acre ranch is the ideal setting for BE. Nestled on the banks of the Colorado River in Austin, Carson Creek is full of picturesque views and a natural, immaculate pasture. There’s even a waterfront amphitheater with shade and grass-covered terraced seating.

All of this falls right in line with that for which Beyond Existence stands. The festival boasts a grassroots vibe and intimate stages, with camping strongly encouraged. One thing’s for sure, BE is one expertly tailored festival.

Because tier one tickets sold out quickly, if you hope to attend Beyond Existence in November, buy your ticket today. If you’re all about that bass, then Beyond Existence is the festival for you!
