Tucked away in Austin, Texas, a wonderful festival has been budding over the last six years. The fruits of the organizers’ hard work are now taking major shape. Starting as a local festival not too long ago, Beyond Existence planted its roots down south. After its early beginnings as a single-day multi-stage event, Beyond Existence has grown into an expansive three-day festival. This festival brings mid-tempo music lovers from the Lone Star State and beyond to celebrate their passion for bass!
In the early years, the Beyond Existence lineup was comprised mostly of local acts. However, the 2023 event produced a lineup of heavy-hitting national acts. With headliners such as Supertask, Manic Focus, and Minnesota, the sound system must be ready to distribute bass throughout the festival. Alethia Sound and Boom Audio will help provide peak sound for the anticipated 2000 festival-goers. With this intimate audience size, Beyond Existence promises the vibe of a smaller-sized festival while still supplying large-scale production.
The 2023 Lineup
Beyond Existence’s 2023 lineup is stacked from top to bottom! A special SubDocta set called “Psych Ward” promises the event-goers a one-of-a-kind treat. Paired with additional headliners like Shlump and Tripp St., the lineup is incredible for a festival of this size.
Additionally appearing on the lineup is kLL sMTH b2b VCTRE, a collaboration that will send shock waves through the Austin area. Furthermore, there will be sets from 5AM as well as special guest Tsuruda. The diverse lineup of bass music and funk is sure to create a powerful weekend of music. Down to the festival’s beloved local acts, there will be a sound for everyone to enjoy.
Beyond the Music
Beyond Existence will take place at Carson Creek Ranch in Austin, the same grounds where Euphoria Music Festival has thrown events for upwards of 50,000 attendees. The landscape and nature of these festival grounds are the cherry on top of this three-day music excursion.
The inclusion of workshops, art booths, and crafty vendors alike will bring a feeling of community to the festival, which the organizers stress as a focal point of the event. Among the vendors involved, Beyond Existence has partnered with Awake Tomorrow to offer fentanyl awareness and harm reduction education. The festival is also partnered with The Subciety, who has put together an impressive takeover featuring underground DJs.
Between the crowd sizes, intimate stages, and sharing of ideas and education, Beyond Existence will be a welcoming environment for all festival-goers. The camping included in your ticket provides easy access to and from the festival grounds throughout the weekend. Plus, the nearby river adds ambiance to the stages and surrounding vendors.
