Saturday, January 11, 2025, will now be Adam Stark Day in Denver. The trance magician is heading to the Bluebird Theater for a sonically memorable night. Stark has an innate ability to connect with the crowd on an emotional level through his music, and Saturday will be no different.
Stark discovered trance magic as a young child. Artists like Paul Van Dyk and ATB cultivated his love affair with trance and progressive house. Not long after discovering these DJ giants, Stark began teaching himself the ways of the 1s and 2s. It should be noted that he spent so much time mixing vinyl on his Stanton belt-driven turntables that he wore those babies down.
Stark Immersion
From menial jobs at fast food restaurants and grocery stores to playing weddings and birthday parties, Stark always found solace in trance. He knew and felt in his heart that trance would be his savior, his ticket to bigger and better.
As a result, he immersed himself in Colorado’s nightlife, relishing in the music community. Stark knew that for him to grow, he should build his brand and a community around it. And by performing around the state, he did just that. Stark has performed at venues like Red Rocks and Mission Ballroom and opened for acts like Paul Oakenfold and Nora En Pure. His talents even allowed him to provide direct support for Paul Van Dyk’ at Colorado’s first Dreamstate back in 2017.
Subsequently, as Stark progressed, he focused more on creating music and expanding his brand outside Colorado. He’s played in Detroit, NYC, San Diego, DC, Chicago, and Miami. He popped his overseas cherry by crossing the pond to London, and recently headed to Amsterdam for an ADE showcase. All the while, he consistently released new music.
Hometown Venue
The Bluebird Theater will host Stark for this incredible show. It is a historically renowned theater on East Colfax, in Denver. With a 500-person capacity, The Bluebird offers an intimate vibe. A three-tiered balcony overlooks the whole venue and offers first-come first-serve seating. The sound and lighting are bar none, helping make sure there isn’t a bad seat in the house.
Stark has worked hard to get to where he is today. Each set he performs or any music he puts out is full of his passion and drive. He pours himself into all he does and it truly shows.
