ac slater ten year tour 2024

On March 1st, AC Slater brings his Night Bass label, roster, and sound to the Mission Ballroom as part of his ten-year celebration tour. It’s seldom easy getting to ten years of anything. AC Slater has done something so few in the music world have.

He has played his sound in his way, on his terms, while growing and expanding at every step. His label and immensely successful tours are the perfect examples of how much Night Bass has grown. As electronic music and the faces that play it constantly change, it is comforting to witness this moment for AC Slater.

Starting locally in his hometown of Los Angeles, AC Slater built his specific Night Bass sound from the ground up, both with the community that supports it, the vibe produced from it, and the music itself. It’s best described as a hybrid of house, bass house, and UK garage. So few can pinpoint where this sound belongs, which is, in my opinion, how music should be. Music should be free of labels, only sounds we love.

With releases from well-respected acts such as Jack Beats, Chris Lorenzo, Taiku Nightlife, and a personal favorite of mine, the UK’s own Flava D, Night Bass and its talented roster are a part of multiple aspects of this culture at festivals, nightclubs, and even a few warehouses all around the house music world. DJs play their tracks, venues book their DJs, and music lovers rock their gear with pride in cities across the globe.

Taking his sound now to the next-generation venue Mission Ballroom with special guests he has yet to name, AC and the Night Bass community will have ample opportunity to stop and celebrate how far they have come. Night Bass continues to gain love in all corners of this music world for staying true to the sound and vibe they continue to share with every step they take. It is neither the beginning nor the end, but simply a moment where we can stop and enjoy the journey that got us to where we are.

Tickets are available for $48 after fees through AXS or the direct site, and there is no denying the places Night Bass will be going this year. With stops in cities that include Toronto, Austin, Chicago, New York, San Francisco, and Denver, Night Bass is only growing and evolving into something we hope will last another ten years and beyond. Go early, stay late, and show the Night Bass fam some love for making it to an undeniable milestone in music.

See you on the Mission Ballroom dance floor.
