SHAQ to Bring His Highly Successful Bass All-Stars Party to Denver

Shaq DJ Diesel black and white

DJ DIESEL will bring his eagerly anticipated Bass All-Stars party to Denver in January 2024. Taking over the incomparable Mission Ballroom on the 4th, this edition features a carefully curated all-female lineup. Of course, DJ DIESEL will also throw down.

Shaquille O’Neill aka Shaq aka DJ DIESEL seamlessly segued from basketball hall of famer to “biggest DJ in the world.” He’s also not new to music, as he dabbled in rap music during the ’90s. Now, he’s a renowned DJ playing the heaviest trap, dubstep and bass music.

Shaq loves DJing just like he loved playing basketball. This summer, he returned to the festival that started it all, Tomorrowland. Shaq’s Bass All-Stars hosted the Youphoria stage. He brought out bass beasts such as 12th Planet, Crankdat, and the unstoppable Jessica Audiffred.

Since rising through the dance music ranks, DJ DIESEL has always tried to shine a light on talented acts. Not everyone gets the credit they deserve — and he hopes to change that. It’s what he strives to do with his Bass All-Stars series, especially with this female installment.

Shaq’s main goal with his successful, traveling Bass-All-Stars series is to create a safe environment for partygoers. He envisions a place for everyone to be themselves and have fun. And he’s hand selected quality female talent, ranging from up-and-comers to established DJs for your enjoyment.

First up is AIMMIA, winner of Insomniac’s Discovery Project. Her first release, “No Self Control” recently hit 1 million streams. Next is LAYZ, a heavy hitter bass diva who’s here to slay. She’s got clean, quality production skills and is proving all the haters wrong with her heavy dubstep bangers. Rounding out the lineup are dominating DJs Softest Hard and the B2B collab between Mija and GG Magree, So Tuff So Cute aka the Spice Girls of EDM. All are behemoths in their own right.

This much talent requires just the right venue. It calls for one that can handle this much bass, so of course, that’s Mission Ballroom. Located blocks away from the Light Rail Station at 38th and Blake, the venue features an updated and futuristic space. It can seat nearly 4,000 attendees in an intimate setting with quality views. Mission Ballroom has ultramodern lighting and sound, making this the perfect spot for these DJs and their filthy, earth-shattering beats.

Shaq has pivoted from basketball to music to TV analyst and back to music. Each time, he’s been incredibly successful. Not one to take things for granted, he strives to help those rising through the ranks, especially in dubstep and bass. DJ DIESEL’s innate desire and determination to support women, especially those who deserve more acknowledgement, is a beautiful thing.

We should note that this event was previously scheduled for September but has since been moved to the January date. Any tickets purchased for the original date will be honored at the new show. Because this was formerly set for the fall and judging by his other sold-out shows, tickets will move fast. So if you hope to attend Shaq’s Bass All-Stars Female Edition, you should buy your tickets today. Start your new year right and catch DJ DIESEL making history alongside this female forward lineup at Shaq’s Bass All-Stars, taking place January 4th at Mission Ballroom in Denver.
